Safe Church is one of the most courageous, unflinching, and redemptive books I’ve ever read. Dr. Andrew Bauman holds a mirror to the modern church - revealing the deep harm that has too often been hidden behind sanctified language - and invites us toward something truer, safer, and more like the heart of Jesus.

Playing a small part in this project and being one of the many women whose stories are represented in these pages is both humbling and healing. I consider it to be top tier of most important things I’ve done in my life. To see our experiences honored, named, and treated with care rather than silence is no small thing. This book gives voice to those who have been voiceless and offers a path forward for communities ready to do the hard, holy work of becoming safe again.
